![]() Mix, drum buss, effects all inside AD and then one simple stereo output into a Sonar track. Isn't the strength, in having the fx on the seperate pieces, and all the routing schemes (parallel compression, for example) done withing superior without ever making it become audio on sonar? What would be the advantage of committing bounces to audio, to do the final mixes with? Unless i'm having RAM problems (i only have 2gig of ram currently), can't i continue to operate the same way? With superior, it seems to me it'd be easier to mix the drums from within the superior mixer, at the end of the project, and output that to a simple stereo drum buss in sonar. Typically, i never even bounce to audio, i just run the drum machine in real time while tracking, and then do a 'what you hear' bounce, to audio, and this dedicates the ezdrums finally, and then i use that stereo file as my starting point for mastering. It's easier, and i apply my FX on each drum track individually, right in sonar. all the faders in the EZ mixer, are set to 0 (unity). ![]() When i use EZ, i output each individual track, to it's representative track in sonar. Since i'm just getting the feet wet with superior. ![]()
